Faye and I have had a wonderful year and 2013 promises even more. We have the London Convention early in January where we will be hosting 3 Super Classes 1 Masterclass and of course 2 days of intensive judging. We will be staying in London for a few extra days to do some one2one mentoring and visit some of the galleries which have some unmissable photographic exhibitions. End of January we are off to Lanzarote with PTO. This will be our second PTO speaking engagement, the last one was back in the mid 90’s. Very much looking forward to it and our model Rebecca Amy will be joining us on this trip. Then its onto FOCUS and in between times we have workshops and seminars to take care off. The 27th January workshop is fully booked, the 17th February is also fully booked, The Art Nude workshop @ Pipewell Hall on the 19th of May is almost fully booked and the same workshop on the 23rd of June has only a couple of places left as is the one the following day. The model for these workshops will be Carla Monaco and Pipewell Hall is a stunning venue for which we have exclusive use. We are still offering a limited number of one2one mentoring days so if you are interested then please drop us an email.
We will also be progressing our Platinum printing into 2013, offering a larger range of our work and we are currently in discussion with a gallery about an exhibition later in the year,. We will keep you posted on that one.

Now that Christmas is over Faye and I are looking forward to the SWPP annual convention held for the first time this year at the London Hilton Metropole. As always we have sold out our location and Superclasses’s some months ago and are only hosting 1 Masterclass this year. This year we are delighted that a small exhibition of our more recent work has been sponsored by Fotospeed using our favourite Platinum Warm Tone paper. We are ambassadors for Fotospeed along with Joe Cornish and John Swannell. The exhibition will be close to the main trade area and will be staffed as always by the delightful Nicola. We will have our usual stock of images for sale and this year for the first time we will be offering 2 different sizes of images which are printed onto Fotospeed Platinum WT paper and come with studio stamp and shrink wrapped. We know that many of you who collect our work look forward to seeing our new images and this year will be no exception with several new additions to our collection including the first from The Dark Circus series.

This is an image taken a couple of years ago and has been very successful for sales. We have now done a Palladium print of this image with a layer of gum over to create a unique print with unparalleled depth of tone and texture for those who collect our work and who are interested in the history of this unique technique. Early in 2013 we will be offering a small selection of our work as platinum/palladium images with the addition of gum over and obviously matted and framed to museum standards.
